The Battle on Sand Is Back The beach race anticipated by vintage bike riders and speed freaks all over Japan made a comeback. It was without an audience and the sky looked threatening but the heated drama that unfolded brushed that away.
聖地巡礼 / THE PILGRIMAGE TO STURGIS
KnuckleheadにPan、Generator Shovel、ConeとH-D黄金期の歴代OHVモーターを搭載する4台のChopperが、往復2800マイル=4500kmを走破し聖地巡礼を果たした。この夏、写真家・永原 健が愛機48FLで仲間と共にメイクした、Sturgis Motorcycle Rallyの回想録。
Four choppers with H-D’s golden-era OHV motor, a knucklehead, a pan, a generator shovel and a cone, made a 2,800 miles (4,500 km) long round trip to the sacred land. Here is photographer Ken Nagahara’s record of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally that he visited this summer with his 48 FL and his friends.
