At least as far back as 1961, Lewis Leathers stocked a range of water-slide transfers and later, vinyl stickers produced by Slik Transfers / Slik Stikkas, these proved very popular with the Ton Ups, early Rockers and Scooterists of the day.

A selection of the designs can be seen in Sydney J. Furie’s, The Leather Boys. movie, on crash helmets and in even Reggie’s bedroom, Slik also produced the Tiger head and Dodgy emblems seen on the back of Pete and Reggie’s leather jackets.

This t shirt range is a tribute to Slik Transfers and the part they played in 1960's motorcycling history, the designs have been meticulously recreated from original artworks purchased from Slik, as well as from old helmets in our collection, care has been taken to match the original colours whenever possible. Shirts are 100% Cotton, made in the UK.
